Last week at the Geneva International Motorshow 2017 our manufacturers revealed some exciting new models and concepts.

RENAULT NEW CAPTUR
Distinctive styling and new advanced technologies.
The Renault Captur was unveiled with more distinctive styling and new advanced technologies.. 36 colour combinations enable the customer to tailor make the appearance of their New Captur. Three new body colours have been introduced which will enhance the striking two-tone colour schemes. Full LED Pure vision front lights enhance the look and safety of the vehicle whilst also reducing glare. Furthermore New Captur incorporated the C-shaped LED daytime running lights that have become recognised as the brand’s lighting signature. The New Captur has adventurous credentials with the addition of a chrome strip to the radiator grille and the bumper incorporating skid plates.
Renault revealed that a range-topping Captur Signature S Nav version will be available. The S Nav Trim level comes with an abundance of luxurious details and features, including heated Nappa leather seats, chrome embellishments, leather trimmed door panels, aluminium pedals and door seals.Alongside all of this the in-car technologies include Blind spot warning, easy park assist, hands-free entry and key-less ignition, all of which is complimented with a premium BOSE audio system and R-Link multimedia system.
RENAULT ZOE E-SPORT CONCEPT
Midway between a production model and a racing car. Perfect for lovers of extreme driving sensations.
The Renault ZOE e-sport concept showcases Renault’s commitment to the ongoing development of electric vehicles.
The all-electric single-seater series has proved a popular and accessible way for the public to enjoy high performance electric racing. The two-seater ZOE e-sport concept echoes the styling of the latest Renault single-seater race cars, and its colour scheme, of Satin Blue and flashes of yellow, reflects the livery of the e.dams team. The body structure is made of carbon fibre and car tips the scales at just 1,400kg including the battery. In addition to this the excellent aerodynamics helps the car accelerate from standstill to 62mpg in 3.2 seconds. Two motors deliver a total of 460bhp.
An SUV like no other
Muscular, charismatic and attractive, the DS7 embodies power and poise through its design.
DS7 Crossback was revealed prior to the Geneva Motorshow but it was on display for all to see its hypnotic design and refined lines. Three-pyramid-shaped LED units, glow purple then spin 180 degrees to face outwards when you unlock the car. These three units can rotate up and down and side to side. With five modes, including one for motorway driving which extends the reach of the bean. After dark a forth cornering light comes into play. Features will include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and autonomous parking, plus driver fatigue monitoring. An infra-red night vision system designed to help drivers spot pedestrians and animals in the dark will be an option along with semi-autonomous driving system. The D7 Crossback will be available with a choice of three petrol and two diesel engines and either an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual gearbox.
Expected to appear in the UK showrooms early 2018.
Delivering pleasure to all your senses
Volvo revealed the long-awaited new XC60 premium SUV. It is set to replace the original XC60, which has become the best-selling premium mid-sized SUV in Europe. The new XC60 is one of the safest cars ever made and is fully loaded with new technology, including Steer Assist being added to the City Safety system, Oncoming Lane Mitigation and Blind Spot Indication System. Pilot Assist, Volvo advanced semi-autonomous driver-assistance system is an available option in the XC60; this takes care of steering, acceleration and braking on well-marked road up to 130km/h. As in the 90 series smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available alongside the Volvo Car’s driver infotainment and connected services.
The new XC60 is set to go into production early spring 2017.

Dacia Logan MCV Stepway was revealed with new styling and a muscular build that draws on the aesthetic of the Sandero Stepway crossover. Ground clearance has been increased by 50mm and it has been given a robust look with two-tone bumper and chrome skid plate along with fog lights and LED daytime running lights. With extra storage space it gives an impressive interior space. At launch it will be available in Azurite Blue or Mink with 16”alloys. It will come with rear parking sensors, hill start assist and reversing camera as an option. Limited edition models will also include climate control,Media Nav Evolution multimedia system, rear parking sensors and cruise control with speed limiter.
The Citroen C-Aircross was unveiled at the Geneva Motor show as a concept that previews the C3 Picasso replacement.
C-Aircross shares a platform with the C4 Cactus and new C3 with their innovative designs and unique personality. It has all the attributes of an SUV in a compact silhouette. The location of the main headlamps serves to make the car appear wider and more assertive from a distance. The rear is equally assertive with 3D rear lights which encompass three highly technological floating light rings.
A modern interior space with an aerial instrument panel creates fluidity and the “head-up” display enables all the important driving information to be within the driver’s field of vision. Four sofa seats offer unique comfort as they adapt to the posture of the body.
